Childrens' Day at School

This had been one of the most mesmerizing day in my three years of schooling at The Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur. It was 14 th November, 2008 which is celebrated as childrens' day thoughout the world. My friends and I planned a lot for this day. We thought of having a disco type of feeling by arranging some rocking audio tracks along with flash-lights that we usually get to see in the discos. So my friends and I arranged the required necessities on that day and we were all set for a BIG BANG.

Firstly, we were to listen a few words from our class teacher, Deepika maam. She was asking us about our future plans about in which college we are wishing to get into etc. She told that "let us start the discussion with our prefect which was none other than ME." So we all expressed our plans for our future and maam also gave her valuable suggestions on it.

Then maam gave us some chocolates as it was after all our day ( childrens' day) and she left then. We arragned the dec and flash-lights ourselves and all of us were set to dance. We just switched on the equipments and they began to work. We put up the song "Jalwa" from "Fashion" and in no time, the power was off. Meanwhile, we decided to take a few snaps. After we had taken a few pics, we returned back to the class. Then we turned on the dec again and danced for "Singh is Kinng". Before the song was about to get over, we had to stop it again as we had to leave for the assembly for some cultural programs.
After the programs were over, we had to directly go to the dining hall where some delicious "chicken" was waiting to be put into our tummys. After we had our lunch, we left into the ground to play Cricket. We divided ourselves into two teams and began to play. Our team captain(Sachin) had trusted me and given me the bowling in the last over. I had managed to give away no runs in 5 balls. It was da last ball and the opposition needed 4 runs to clinch the win. It was me at one end and Rakesh at the other end batting. But unfortuantely, he hit a six to take away the game from us. Overall it was a great day if I hadn't lost my flash-light. When we left to play cricket in the ground, someone had stolen my flash-light which was in my bag.
